For reference, I'm a Canadian living in Osaka and going to school in Kyoto. I'm a vehemently non-neo-classical economics major, interested in the role that information plays (and its potential for eliciting harm) within complex social systems, i.e., misguided policy, dangerous investment decisions, and issues caused by gaps between what is socially understood and what the "rules" say.
