千里八景

There is nothing I like more than a good 標柱 or 石碑, local scenery and a bit of mystery. The "eight views" of Senri refers to eight points in the "Senri New Town" areas of Suita and Toyonaka that were highlighted as part of the 20th anniversary of said New Town (in 1982). Eight stone pillars (called 標示柱 in a Sankei newspaper article introducing them) were placed near the various locations of interest. In the subsequent 40+ years, two have disappeared, and six remain intact. Here is my collection of photos from the eight original locations.
